Who are we?

Soul Hope opened in July of 2010. It was created by two sisters Carrie Spry and Sara Hull, both from Manitoulin. Although Sara was instrumental in the creation of Soul Hope, she has decided that it doesn’t coincide with her life path and has withdrawn from the business. It is now run solely and proudly by Carrie.

Carrie was born in Sudbury, and moved to South Baymouth as a child. She had the benefit of attending Assiginack Public school and then on to Manitoulin Secondary School. After this, Carrie moved back to Sudbury to complete post secondary studies. She completed a 3 year Computer Systems Technology Diploma and a 1 year Business Diploma. She was hired on(contract) at Inco in the Information Technology department after her schooling.

After many years of return to Manitoulin Island every single weekend and then back to the pavement (Sudbury) on week days. She realized that her place was back here on Manitoulin where community and friendship were the highlights of everyday life. She left Inco and bought a house in Mindemoya. She now has a husband and 3 young children.  

Since being back on the island, Carrie has had training in Reiki, Aromatology, and Hypnosis. She is currently going through the application process to become a Correactology practioner on Manitoulin.

Our Mission

Soul Hope is an ever expanding business with high hopes for Manitoulin. We hope to create a coalition among all the spiritual and wellness practioners here on the island so that we can provide a vast and friendly atmosphere to anyone who is interested in natural health.
